Today’s incredible guest shares her personal experience of becoming a fashion and beauty model. In this episode, Kady Chrystelle talks about her personal experience in the modelling business and makes an observation of the industry as a customer and as an influencer. Kady provides real-life examples of specific beauty and fashion brands that still need to improve on their social responsibility and gives a number of recommendations for girls and women who want to enter the fashion industry. You’ll learn:
- What is like to be a model? Kady shares her first scam experience with modelling business and how she managed to build her career after being mistreated at the beginning.
- She then lists flaws in the modelling industry (appearance, “plus sizes”, sexual appeal, pay issues, "time-for-print”, legal issues) and provides the advice on how to deal and overcome them.
- After she speaks about social responsibility and diversity in the fashion industry (situation in the past, present, and future hopes)
- Finally, Kady provides tips for young girls/women who want to enter the fashion industry whether as a model or as a designer.
